CT Nigeria had signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens, a leading global engineering giant for the construction of 70MW alternating current photovoltaic (solar) power farm valued at 170M USD at Panyam, Plateau state.
One of the attraction of solar power plants is the short construction time frame as against the conventional plant that take longer to actualize. This is expected to be completed in 12 – 18 months’ timeline.
The CEO of CT Nigeria limited, Mr. Phillip Chukwueke disclosed that his firm selected Siemens as technical partners for the project due to the company’s proven solutions, technical support and services.
Siemens GM, Power and Gas, Nasir Giwa expressed commitment to delivering the, project and stated their desire at delivering state –of – the art technology and services with CT Nigeria to the Nigerian people who urgently require stable electricity to help meet the country’s rapid development.
